In order to scientifically protect excellent historical buildings, taking the comprehensiveinspection of an excellent historical building as an example, this paper carried out comprehensive qualityinspection and special surveying work before renovation, investigated the housing protection category, keyprotection parts, protection scope, renovation and reconstruction history, use load, etc. , drew housebuilding and structural surveying drawings, conducted on-site inspections of house damage, sampled andtested the mechanical properties of the main structural materials of the house, and measured theinclination and uneven settlement of the house. Based on the on-site inspection results, a reasonablecalculation model was established to verify the bearing capacity of the house structure. Based on the on-site inspection and verification results, the safety performance and seismic performance of the housestructure were comprehensively evaluated.
